Calgon Carbon recently announced its first quarter results, and unsurprisingly, the company has continued to grow. This company, dedicated to activated carbon adsorption, has been growing at an extremely fast rate over the last few years, partly due to the new market for activated carbon filters, activated carbon air, activated carbon water and other related activated carbon products.
Some people believe that activated carbon products are likely to bring about a new age in various cleaning supplies and health food. Although scientists have not completely agreed on the findings and activated carbon studies have led to very different results (depending on who funded the research) most people believe that the activated carbon market is going to have some sort of renaissance in the next few years. The future surely looks bright for the activated carbon market, and Calgon Carbon has benefitted by being one of the top players in the market. Although its competition is going to be fierce, it is likely that Calgon Carbon will continue its dominance in the field, due to its quality and experience in the activated carbon markets. Yet, only the future will tell whether or not the activated carbon market will bloom to its full potential.

Activated Carbon Absorption: New Technology for Clean Air
According to the Environment Protection Agency, indoor air is up to five times more harmful to breathe than outdoor air. New technology has been directed to solving this problem with air purification devices. Much progress has been made: they work better at providing clean indoor air than ever before, but we want to be sure we use the safest, most effective method.
There are a few different methods available to use to achieve clean indoor air: Hepa, Electrostatic, and UVA and Activated Carbon Absorption methods. The Activated Carbon Absorption is a very efficient way of sustaining a purer indoor environment, and is quite safe. It is a very good tool for cleaning cigarette smoke from a living or working space, which is a common and very dangerous pollutant.
Most air purification systems function through the use of filters and activated carbon absorption methods are no different. Untreated air is pulled into a cleaning unit through the activated carbon filter. This helps rid the air of pollutants such as pollen, dust, cigarette smoke, allergens, and other chemicals. Filters, activated carbon filters and all other varieties, require regular cleaning to work effectively.
Everyone benefits from the new technological advances in clean air technology, especially those with asthma or who live and work in dangerous respiratory environments. Activated Carbon Absorption provides a safe and effective solution to our indoor health issues.
